FIRST AID TRAINING
Comprehensive First Aid Training Courses for Enhanced Emergency Response
Our meticulously designed first aid training courses equip both individuals and companies with the essential skills needed to effectively respond to emergency situations. These courses are structured into three levels, each progressively building upon the knowledge and expertise gained from the preceding level.
Level 1 focuses on fundamental first aid techniques, encompassing CPR and wound care. Moving forward, Level 2 expands on these fundamentals and delves into more advanced subjects, such as fractures, spinal injuries, and head injuries. Finally, Level 3 provides the most extensive training, catering to individuals who may assume the responsibility of administering first aid in high-risk or remote environments. This level encompasses wilderness first aid, advanced resuscitation techniques, and specialized equipment utilization.
By investing in our first aid training courses, individuals and companies alike can enhance their emergency response skills, effectively preparing themselves to handle a diverse range of medical emergencies.
FIRE TRAINING
Fire training is a critical part of workplace safety. It involves instructing employees on fire prevention and response in the event of a fire emergency. This training covers identifying fire hazards, proper use of fire extinguishers, evacuation procedures, and handling different types of fires. Employers are responsible for ensuring their employees receive adequate fire training, updated regularly. Comprehensive fire training helps protect employees and minimize property damage.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLANS
Emergency Care creates customized Emergency Response plans for clients, tailored to their specific needs and circumstances, to provide a comprehensive framework for responding to emergencies. These plans include a range of safety plans and are designed by identifying and assessing potential risks, developing appropriate safety measures, and ensuring a timely and effective response. The service helps clients prioritize safety, minimize risks, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, providing peace of mind for clients and their employees.
ON-SITE CLINIC MANAGEMENT
Emergency Care provides on-site clinic management services that include medical staff, necessary medical supplies, and equipment for efficient on-site clinic operation. The services offered also include policy and procedure development and implementation. Emergency Care’s on-site clinic management services can be particularly beneficial for organizations operating in remote or high-risk locations, prioritizing employees’ health and safety while promoting a culture of safety, reducing the risk of workplace injuries and illnesses, and cost savings by reducing off-site medical care needs and productivity loss.
EMERGENCY CARE OFFERS A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS:
SHORT COURSE:
A short course is a training programme that is designed to meet specific workplace needs in a condensed period of time. These courses may also offer credits upon completion. On the other hand, “skills programmes” are geared towards developing occupationally-based skills and earning credits towards a registered qualification on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). The duration of skills programmes is dependent on achieving programme outcomes.
E-LEARNING:
E-Learning is on-line training that uses digital technologies to access learning programmes from outside of the traditional classroom. This can be completed entirely online through a range of devices such as tablets, computers, laptops, or mobile phones.
BLENDED LEARNING:
Blended learning is a hybrid approach to learning that combines online learning with traditional classroom pedagogical methods. It requires the physical presence of both the facilitator and learner and offers elements of learner control over time, place, path, or pace.
INSTRUCTOR-LED TRAINING(ILT):
Instructor-led training (ILT) refers to any training that takes place in a classroom setting. This type of training requires a facilitator who trains learners on the programme outcomes using a range of classroom activities, including quizzes, case studies, role-plays, group discussions, and practical exercises.
MICROLEARNING:
Microlearning is a learning approach that breaks down information into small, easily digestible nuggets designed to meet specific learning outcomes. These can be uploaded to a Learner Management System for learners to view on a digital platform.
